A Clear strategy

We are committed to being a church that responds to the people around us. 

We envision reaching thousands in our community with the Good News of Christ using biblical doctrine, contemporary worship and community events. We aspire to reach into and respond to our community with the Good News whenever we see a need to be filled.

We will reach out to families in our community and church by providing ministries and events for parents, children, youth, and seniors. Through these ministries we will build a stronger church where we will share our lives and our love for Christ and for one another as one family--God's family.

We acknowledge that Christ is the center of our lives and all that we do is for his glorification. To better understand why and what we are to do for Christ, Emmanuel will provide education avenues for all levels of understanding and spiritual maturity.

We will seek new ministry opportunities that are needed in Clovis and beyond, offering God's support, guidance and peace.

At Emmanuel we believe you meet God wherever you are in your spiritual journey. We also believe that God doesn't want us to remain where we are, but to grow into his disciple. That's why we offer spiritual formation and leadership classes throughout the year, such as:

1. New Heart -- where we learn to place Christ as Lord of our life

2. My Life in Christ -- where we learn what the Bible teaches

3. Small groups -- where we learn to grow in an environment of trust and accountability

4. Gift discernment -- where we learn to discover, develop, and use our spiritual giftedness in the church

5. Emmanuel U -- workshops and seminars for spiritual growth and mission

Our church is a hospital for sinners, where forgiveness, love, and trust are shared with one another from the giver of forgiveness, our Lord Jesus Christ.

We use our gifts to serve others and to provide ways for our worshipers to grow spiritually.

We are a mission station, an outpost of Christian community. As such we embrace change that will lead to spiritual growth, that will meet the needs of our community, and that embraces a contextually relevant worship style.

Healing

We strive to bring wholeness by acts of kindness and the proclamation of the Gospel to lives that are fractured and broken.

Who are we?

We are a growing number of followers of Jesus who meet at Alluvial and Fowler in Clovis to worship God. You'll find a no-nonsense message of hope that is built on the never-changing words of God's Son, Jesus Christ. Worshipers come together on Sundays at 9 a.m. and throughout the week in small groups, Bible studies, ministries into the community, and service to our elderly and hospitalized.

We are different. We are a church for those who don't like to go to church. Small enough to care for each person, and large enough to offer ministry to your entire family. Our desire is to be YOUR CHURCH.

We guide people through a life of worship with passionate and engaging weekly gatherings, focused solidly on God’s Word and Sacraments, contemporary in style and creative in technology.

LOVE PEOPLE

We create communities of Gospel gossipers through active small groups and random acts of kindness.
