The Central California Chapter of the Germans from Russia Library and Museum to Host Jeanne Drewes for "Saving Family Treasures" Presentation

Fresno, CA – The Central California Chapter of the Germans from Russia Library and Museum is pleased to announce a special presentation by Jeanne Drewes, a former Library of Congress librarian, titled "Saving Family Treasures" on Friday, October 4, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The event will occur at Emmanuel Clovis, 785 N Fowler Avenue, Clovis, CA 93611 (S.W. corner of Fowler and Alluvial).

Ms. Drewes, a distinguished preservation expert with a wealth of experience, will lead attendees in identifying and preserving family memories and heirlooms. Her presentation will cover practical techniques for safeguarding these valuable items for future generations, instilling confidence in her guidance.

Attendees are not just passive listeners but active participants in this event. They are encouraged to bring their family treasures for discussion, such as photos, letters, documents, or heirlooms. Ms. Drewes will advise on preservation techniques during her PowerPoint presentation and demonstrate potential solutions. After the talk, she will examine individual items and suggest specific preservation strategies, making the event highly engaging.
